Step 9 ("Update Firmware") - iOS 17 is brand new so there are no new updates to download from Apple yet. Nothing seemed to happen or change after I did it though, so I don't know what settings Effectively if you have a Jaguar Land Rover equipped with CarPlay you liking have faulty maps. The dealer just printed out a page with all these various cars that no longer work after upgrade to your head deck and 14.6. It appears to all be in the side of JLR and not really Apple at least that was the dealers comment. Let me clarify—I’m not having connectivity problems post update, except for CarPlay not working after a remote start. I’m talking from September of 2018 until last week. Bluetooth was an absolute dumpster fire, and this was using THREE iPhone models: 8+, X and XS Max.

On my iPhone 15 pro with iOS17.1, the wireless connection with Carplay (VW-T-Cross, year 2021) also doesn't work. With my previous iPhone 12 mini and iOS17.1, the wireless connection to CarPlay works. Apple support is pretty clueless at the moment. Just an update. I connected via USB.

Apple CarPlay will not launch in Ghibli after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you haven’t allowed access in the settings. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and select your vehicle name under MY CAR. Then turn on the slider button next to ‘Allow CarPlay While Locked’. Settings > General > CarPlay > Your Car Name
