If you like freeroam heavy and don't mind always online go for Rivals while if you want offline single player based you go for Payback. Both are good games in my opinion. It's controversial, but good enough as a NFS game. martupdown. For a game that most NFS fans would prefer to experience alone, having an always-online is trash because if the EA servers go down, or you have ISP issues, BAM, you have a digital paperweight rather than a functional game.
