Go for the 1.2 16v. I own one thats un-modded and it can beat a lot of 1.4 cars. The 8v are slower and the as the 16v is the sporting model they are built to be sportier and the suspension is a lot stiffer - better handling. At present my car is 86bhp, which easily beat a 1.1 Arbarth tuned Chinque off the lights!! Wiggy Punto 1.2 16v Sporting
